Industrial PC, inc. is Hiring a Technical Support Specialist Near Carmel, IN

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our customers. Your primary focus will be on troubleshooting software issues, providing IT support, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, or in-person
- Troubleshoot software and hardware issues to identify and resolve problems
- Assist customers with IT infrastructure setup and configuration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues
- Document customer interactions and resolutions in ticketing systems such as Jira or Remedy
- Conduct computer networking tasks, including setting up firewalls and troubleshooting network connectivity
- Assist with the installation and configuration of software applications
- Provide exceptional customer service by effectively communicating technical information in a clear and concise manner

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of software troubleshooting techniques
- Proficiency in Mac OS and Windows operating systems
- Experience in providing IT support to end-users
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure components such as servers, routers, and switches
- Knowledge of ticketing systems such as Jira or Remedy
- Understanding of computer networking principles and protocols
- Familiarity with firewall configurations and security protocols
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think analytically
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
